The Sections within the Group.

There are a maximum of three sections that are actually attached to a Scout Group. If a group has all of these they can accept entrants aged from six upwards.

After 14, the members transfer to Explorer Scouts, and at 18 they go to Scout Network where they can stay until 25. In Carmarthenshire, both of these sections are managed by the Area.

We at 1st Carmarthen have both Cubs and Scouts. Beaver Scouts restarted in September 2007 thanks to a willing parent volunteering to become a leader. Since then we've had a change of leader but still runnig three sections.
